Our Pastor's View
Beloved Parishioners,
We join together to celebrate the victory of Jesus over sin and death. Gather with us to praise God for the goodness and many blessings that He has given this country. We saw how the goodness in people will come out when others need an honest helping hand. Our bishop asks us to help the many hidden needy within our own diocese and you have been generous.
Our pastoral council and our financial council are taking more responsibility for the major decisions that have to be made for our church community. The people, who serve, are both dedicated and knowledgeable in the business and financial field. I thank them for their willingness to serve.
God continues to bless this country with prosperity. We ask you to share this blessing with the parish by continuing to do your best to keep Saint Margarets a Tithing Parish (5% off the top of your income and 5% to other worth charities).
There is one area where we need to grow. We have many people who serve in various ministries. However, we also have a very large parish. We need more people to serve in these ministries consistently. There are opportunities available. Remember your family obligations are first. If you have time after that obligation, consider serving in one way or another in your parish family.
My primary mission is that more people feel and know the presence of the Risen Jesus. Will you help me to do this? May God bless all of you with his abundant goodness. May you and your loved ones have a joyous, holy and Happy Easter.
Sincerely yours,
